The Report of Fondazione Leonardo, SEE Lab Bocconi and Sapienza University on Space Economy, Space Industry, Space Law presented to the space community

On 29th September, Luciano Violante, Sergio Marchisio and Simonetta Di Pippo presented the Report on “Space Economy, Space Industry, Space Law” to the government, industrial and academic community at the Italian Parliament.

The Report is the result of the research collaboration between Fondazione Leonardo-Civiltà delle Macchine, Sapienza University, SEE Lab Bocconi and consultations with stakeholders. It analyses the socio-economic and legal context of the Italian space sector and its future evolution to identify the main elements of an Italian legislation for space activities.

During the event, Prof. Marchisio illustrated the legal chapter of the Report, highlighting the most important features of the legislative proposal and, together with Luciano Violante and Simonetta Di Pippo, discussed the draft text with the attending stakeholders to collect further inputs and suggestions.
