The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) has released the GLEX 2025 Highlights Booklet, offering a comprehensive look back at the remarkable success of the 4th edition of the Global Space Exploration Conference (GLEX 2025), held from 7 to 9 May 2025 in New Delhi, India.
Organised under the theme Reaching New Worlds – A Space Exploration Renaissance, this year’s edition marked a significant milestone in the global space exploration agenda. With more than 1,500 participants from 36 countries, GLEX 2025 was the largest IAF Global Conference to date.
Hosted by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and co-hosted by the Astronautical Society of India (ASI), the event featured dynamic discussions, high-level plenaries, technical sessions, and unforgettable engagements with ten astronauts from around the world.
The Highlights Booklet captures the energy and ambition that characterised GLEX 2025 – from strategic dialogues on lunar missions and debris mitigation to inspiring contributions from space pioneers, including the first Indian, Turkish, Emirati, and commercial astronauts.
Special recognition is extended to Dr. Anil Kumar, Director of ISTRAC and IAF Vice President for Relations with International Organizations, who led the GLEX 2025 Local Organizing Committee with exceptional dedication and vision.
Looking ahead, the IAF Global Conference series continues with GLOC 2026, set to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 2–4 June 2026, focusing on space and climate change.
