Strengthening cooperation between the Ibero-American Institute of Aeronautical and Space Law and the OSL Research Group

  • 12 January 2026

The OSL Research Group is pleased to highlight its ongoing academic relationship with the Ibero-American Institute of Aeronautical and Space Law, a leading institution in the field of aeronautical and space law.

This cooperation is reflected, among other initiatives, in the participation of Sergio Marchisio in the XLVIII Ibero-American Conference on Aeronautical and Space Law, held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife from 9 to 12 October 2024. The proceedings of the Conference have recently been published in a volume issued by the Institute, which brings together high-quality scholarly contributions by academics and practitioners in the field.

The volume includes a paper presented by Marchisio during Round Table VI, “Present and Future of Aerospace Activities,” entitled Evolution of Space Applications, Challenges for Space Law.”

The OSL Research Group also welcomes the publication of the monographic issue of the journal Navigare, The Chicago Convention: Challenges and Perspectives of International Civil Aviation, made available by the Institute through its website. This publication represents a further valuable contribution to contemporary discussions on international civil aviation law.

The OSL Research Group congratulates the Ibero-American Institute of Aeronautical and Space Law, as well as its President Santiago Ripol Carulla and its Secretary General Pablo Navasqüés Dacal, for their continued commitment to promoting academic excellence and fostering dialogue among scholars and practitioners, and looks forward to further strengthening this fruitful collaboration through future initiatives.
