Join us for the IAF Symposium 2025, organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in conjunction with the 62nd Session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee (STSC) of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).

Taking place at the United Nations Office in Vienna, this year’s Symposium will gather leading experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore how space is becoming an indispensable element in shaping national and international policies.

One of the most anticipated discussions of the event will be Panel C on How to Embrace Emerging Countries in the Global Space Endeavour?

Moderated by UNOOSA Director Aarti Holla-Maini, and featuring distinguished panelists as Michal Brichta (Slovak Space Office – Industry Branch Director), Sergio Marchisio (Full Professor of International Law at Sapienza University of Rome), Asanda Ntisana (Acting Managing Director for Earth Observations at the South African National Space Agency) and Lisa Vitaris (Director at Space Industry Association of Australia), it will focus on fostering inclusivity in the global space sector.
